LWS provided survey services, including aerial LiDAR and Imagery of this 1,800-acre solar site. This project is ongoing. By the end of the project, LWS will deliver over 2,000 acres of LiDAR data to be used for project design and an Orthomosaic Image to be used for pre-construction site condition records.  

LWS used a two-man crew to complete the necessary tasks to collect both the Imagery and LiDAR using a UAV carrying dual cameras and a high accuracy LiDAR unit. The client requested that this project be completed in two phases; Phase One, consisting of over 1,500 acres, was completed and delivered within two weeks from the deployment of the crew to accommodate engineering time constraints.  

LWS collected LiDAR at more than 200 points per square meter and imagery better than 3cm GSD.
